Out of stock, it is superseded by the UCA222 which comes Buy your Behringer UCA202 UCONTROL on, Homestudio at an amazing price available for purchase online. Thank you.BEHRINGER U-CONTROL UCA202 USB RCA CONNECTOR AUDIO INTERFACE Is there any way to remedy this issue, or should I just return the UMC22? Is the interface at fault here, considering my old interface doesn't pick up this USB noise? I'm not sure if the UMC22 is bad, or just more sensitive to the power traffic through PC. So I only hear the noise from the back L and R outputs. I've even unplugged every device except the interface from my motherboard, and the UMC22 still picks up noise.Īlso, interestingly, when I use the 1/4" headphone jack on the front of the UMC22 with my Beyerdynamic DT990s, there is absolutely no noise present, even at max gain. I've tried every USB port, and uninstalling/reinstalling drivers to no avail. So, the problem is only present in the specific scenario where I combo the UMC22 with my desktop. When running my speakers from the MobilePre interface using my desktop, the digital noise in the cone also isn't present. It accomplishes this by providing two analog mono Inputs and Outputs (for monitoring), USB connectivity and an additional S/PDIF optical output for direct analog-to-digital conversion. Sound is coming into this external soundcard because when I hook headphones to it I hear the music from my tape deck (RCA jacks are being used from the deck to the sound card) The computer seems to be recognizing the external card as when I open the volume control from the task. The UCA202 allows you to connect instruments and other audio devices to your computer, effectively merging the analog and digital worlds. I even tried connecting the laptop to the power strip to charge to see if it would send any noise to the speakers, but it didn't change anything. No sound thru notebook speakers using Behringer usb audio adpater.

Nothing about the way my cables are arranged changes, I just swap the USB to my laptop and that's it. However, the odd thing I noticed is that when connecting the UMC22 to my laptop via the USB, the noise disappears. Also tried different power and audio cables which didn't have an effect. I have tried to troubleshoot using my old audio interface (M-Audio MobilePre), and my laptop. Also, the sound is present only in the cones, not the tweeters. I'd like to use the uca202 to drive the M-Audio speakers via a USB port, thus allowing me to keep the toslink cable connected to the DAC1, but allowing audio output to the AV 40s at the same time. It isn't super loud, but it is quite noticeable from my normal listening position when there's either no or very quiet audio playback. I recently bought some M-Audio AV 40 speakers to use with just the computer, and those powered monitors have RCA and 3.5mm inputs. My issue is that I'm getting some very obvious USB interference noise (crackly white noise with digital, saw-wave-esque undertones that are fairly high pitched).

I also made sure that my PC (custom built desktop), speakers, and monitor are all connected to the same power strip to avoid ground loop issues. I use XLR to TRS 1/4" connection from each speaker, and run them into the UMC22. So, I'm in an apartment building (college student) and I run some KRK Rokit 6. Hello all, I come to you looking for some advice concerning a really annoying and persistent issue with my new UMC22 (a few days old).
